What do the four liver function items refer to

Your health is my mission.
Liver function four usually include alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, direct bilirubin and indirect bilirubin.
1, alanine aminotransferase
mainly exists in the liver cell plasma, its normal value is 0-40U/L, when alanine aminotransferase value abnormal increase, may suggest liver cell damage.
2. AST
exists in mitochondria of liver cells, and its normal value is 0-37U/L, which is an important index reflecting liver function and can indicate whether there is liver cell damage or mitochondrial damage.
Direct bilirubin
is formed by the combination of bilirubin produced by the liver and glucuronic acid, and its normal value is 0-6.8μmol/L, which can better reflect the impaired liver excretion function or biliary obstruction.
4. Indirect bilirubin
is unconjugated bilirubin produced by red blood cell destruction. The normal value is 0-17μmol/L, which can indicate whether there is excessive red blood cell destruction or impaired liver transformation function.
It is recommended that people with abnormal liver function test results need to seek medical attention in time for further examination and treatment.
