Duodenal stromal tumor

Your health, my commitment.
Duodenal stromal tumors can be treated by surgery, endoscopic therapy, targeted therapy, etc.
1.
Surgical resection is the preferred treatment for duodenal stromal tumors diagnosed at an early stage, which helps to improve prognosis and reduce the risk of recurrence. Depending on the size and location of the tumor, partial resection or total resection may be required.
2. Endoscopic therapy
For tumors less than 2 cm in diameter, endoscopic resection may be considered if the location is suitable.
3. Targeted therapy
is a common choice for high-risk or advanced duodenal stromal tumors that cannot be surgically removed. Commonly used drugs include sunitinib, imatinib, and regofenib, which should be used under the guidance of a doctor.
