Type 1 Diabetes Symptoms

Type 1 diabetes is caused by abnormal insulin secretion. Children can show symptoms of three more and one less, which refers to polydipsia, polyphagia, polyuria and progressive weight loss, of which polyuria is mostly seen in increased nocturnal urine. For severe children, there will also be loss of consciousness and ketoacidosis.
