Why hypertensive patient blood pressure can drop suddenly very low

Patients with high blood pressure suddenly experience a drop in blood pressure, which may be caused by antihypertensive drugs, such as overdose, or by orthostatic hypotension. If the blood pressure returns quickly after the drop, treatment may be temporarily left untreated.
