The whole process of natural labor is calculated from the regular uterine contractions. When there are regular uterine contractions, the uterine orifice begins to dilate, the cervical canal shortens, the fetal head descends, the uterine orifice opens, and the fetal membrane ruptures. During this labor process, it is necessary to pay attention to the frequency and intensity of uterine contractions, the duration of uterine contractions, and the interval time. This time takes about 8 to 24 hours. When the uterine orifice opens completely, it enters the second labor stage. The time to delivery of the fetus is generally about 2 hours. The third stage of labor is placenta delivery. It takes about 5~15 minutes from fetal release to placenta release, and the longest period does not exceed 30 minutes.
