Can cerebral insufficiency heal itself?

Patients with insufficient blood supply to the brain can generally self-heal. Most of these lesions occur in sudden conditions and can be relieved by themselves. However, if the brain is deficient in blood supply caused by atherosclerosis, it may not self-heal.
