What is intrauterine adhesions?

Intrauterine adhesion refers to some of the manifestations that occur after the endometrium has been damaged by surgery. It can cause infertility and embryo implantation obstacles. Intrauterine adhesion often occurs after multiple abortions, curettage or induced labor. When there is multiple intrauterine operations, intrauterine adhesion is a very annoying thing, affecting the implantation and success rate of our IVF embryos. After intrauterine adhesions occur, the patient needs to undergo hysteroscopic repair, break down the adhesions, place an intrauterine device if necessary, and perform artificial cycles of estrogen and progesterone to repair the endometrium.
