HPV is what you get tested for.

HPV is detected by cervical exfoliated cells. At this stage, cervical exfoliated cytology HPV and TCT are used to determine whether cervical lesions may exist. HPV infection is detected by specific pathological methods, such as immunohistochemistry, PCR, hybridization capture and other special pathological methods. According to HPV combined with cervical TCT examination results, it is preliminarily judged whether there is cervical lesions and guide the next step of treatment.
