Symptoms of genital herpes

Genital herpes is mainly related to herpes simplex virus infection. Samples can be taken from the skin lesions for viral antigen examination. Samples can also be used for viral culture examination. Herpes simplex virus and cell lesions can be found through viral culture examination. Patients can be treated with topical application of phthalidomide liniment.
