How HPV is Infected

HPV infection is divided into high-risk HPV infection and low-risk HPV infection. Low-risk HPV infection may also be caused by contact with unclean clothes or articles in daily life, but some low-risk HPV infection is transmitted through high-risk sexual life, such as HPV type 6 and HPV type 11, often with high-risk life history, resulting in the occurrence of the disease. The cause of high-risk HPV infection is still unclear at this stage, but it has a certain relationship with sexual life. Women without sexual history will not be infected with high-risk HPV. Therefore, once high-risk HPV infection occurs, attention should be paid to it, because long-term infection in the cervix may cause cervical epithelial lesions.
