Rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic autoimmune disease with symmetrical polyarthritis as its main clinical manifestation. Morning stiffness is a typical symptom of rheumatoid arthritis. The degree and duration of morning stiffness can be used as an index to judge the disease activity. Joint swelling and pain are the earliest symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. The most common parts of rheumatoid arthritis are wrist, palm, finger joint and proximal finger joint. Serious joint deformity and dysfunction will occur.
