Is rheumatic erythema nodosum serious?

Rheumatic nodular erythema is not serious. It is only a skin lesion caused by rheumatic system diseases. It is manifested as nodular erythema. It is most common in connective tissue diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus, Behcet's disease and Sjogren's syndrome. This nodular erythema can disappear completely with the control of the primary disease activity of rheumatic system diseases. As long as the primary disease is stable, it will not recur. However, most rheumatic system diseases are systemic diseases, patients can show important organ function involvement, if the patient involves heart, lungs, central nervous system and other important organs and systems, it may endanger life.
