Early symptoms of gout

Acute gouty arthritis occurs without any symptoms. Mild trauma, binge drinking, high purine food and excessive alcohol consumption, surgical fatigue, emotional stress, medical emergencies can induce acute attacks of gout. Acute arthritis or polyarticular pain often occurs at night. Normal symptoms are the first symptoms. Pain is progressive and severe. Signs similar to acute infection include swelling, localized fever and marked tenderness. Local skin is tense, hot and shiny, and has a dark red or purple-red appearance. The metatarsophalangeal joint of the big finger is most commonly involved, and the elbow joint, wrist joint, etc. are also common sites of the disease.
