What is alcoholic hepatitis?

Alcoholic hepatitis may be related to long-term drinking, family inheritance, malnutrition and other reasons.

1. Long-term drinking

alcohol needs to be metabolized by the liver. People who drink a lot of alcohol for a long time may increase the burden on the liver and cause liver cell damage, thus easily suffering from alcoholic hepatitis.

2. Family inheritance

If there is a history of alcoholic hepatitis in the family, the incidence rate is higher than that of people without a family history of alcoholic hepatitis.

3. Malnutrition

People with insufficient long-term nutritional intake may also lead to decreased liver immunity, thus increasing the risk of illness.
