What is cervical white spot?

Building bridges to better health.
Cervical leukoplakia is a gray opaque plaque lesion located in the cervix and vagina. Visible leukoplakia only indicates different degrees of epithelial hyperplasia. Clinically, it can be manifested as: 1. When cervical leukoplakia is combined with cervical ectropion, it occasionally shows increased leucorrhea or vaginal blood secretions and contact bleeding;2. Simple cervical leukoplakia is mostly asymptomatic and may naturally resolve. The presence of cervical leukoplakia can be diagnosed by local vaginal visual examination, colposcopy, iodine test and biopsy, which can rule out the presence of early cancer. Note that if there is no inflammatory infection, no special treatment is required, but if the infection is severe, appropriate anti-inflammatory drugs are recommended. The correct treatment will help to recover in time.
