Cervical cancer staging and survival rate

Healing with compassion, caring with purpose.
According to the clinical symptoms of cervical cancer, the size of the mass, and the degree of invasion and invasion of surrounding tissues, the pathological changes of cervical cancer can be divided into four stages. The first stage refers to the cancer focus being limited to the cervix; the second stage refers to the cancer focus exceeding the cervix but not reaching the pelvic wall, and the cancer focus involving the vagina but not reaching the lower 1/3 of the vagina; the third stage cancer expands to the pelvic wall and (or) accumulates the lower 1/3 of the vagina, resulting in hydronephrosis or non-functional kidney; Stage IV cancer spreads beyond the true pelvis and/or infiltrates the bladder or rectal mucosa. If patients are actively treated, the cure rate of stage I cervical cancer patients is about 80%~92%, the cure rate of stage II is about 50%~60%, the cure rate of stage III is about 40~50%, and if it is stage IV, the cure rate of advanced patients is only 10%.
