The name of cervical erosion has been abolished. This is ectopic columnar epithelium of the cervix. It does not need treatment. It is a physiological phenomenon. Therefore, it has nothing to do with HPV virus infection. After HPV virus infection, if precancerous lesions of the cervix or cervical cancer are caused, erosion-like changes in the cervix will be seen. Therefore, if there are erosion-like changes in the cervix, routine cervical precancerous screening is needed, that is, HPV and TCT examinations. If this examination is negative, cervical erosion is a normal phenomenon and does not require treatment.
