Viral hepatitis is a systemic infectious disease caused by hepatitis virus infection with liver damage as the main symptom. It belongs to Class B legal infectious diseases. Viral hepatitis can be divided into five types: A, B, C, D and E. Patients often show loss of appetite, liver discomfort, general fatigue, abnormal liver function, etc.

Hepatitis A and E are mainly transmitted through faecal-oral route, while hepatitis B, C and D are mainly transmitted through blood transmission and body fluids. Protective measures should be taken in daily life to strengthen self-awareness of prevention.
