Can liver hemangioma disappear on its own?

Liver hemangiomas usually do not disappear on their own.

Hepatic hemangiomas are large arteriovenous malformations in the liver. They usually do not recover without intervention. If there is no obvious discomfort, they generally do not need treatment and regular follow-up. If the liver hemangiomas rupture or the tumors grow rapidly or are complicated by Kasabach-Merritt, surgery is required in time, such as laparoscopic surgery or open surgery.
