Rabies from a rabbit bite?

Rabies virus is carried by dogs, cats, pigs, cattle and other animals. Rabbits will die shortly after infection with rabies virus and rarely infect people. After being bitten by rabbits, wash the wound with soapy water and disinfect it with iodophor.
