How is adnexitis formed?

Annex refers to the female reproductive organs in the fallopian tubes and ovaries, annex inflammation refers to the inflammation of the ovaries and fallopian tubes. Annex inflammation is caused by pathogenic microorganisms invading the reproductive organs. Clinically, it often occurs at the same time as pelvic connective tissue inflammation. Annex may also cause tubal blockage, resulting in infertility, so once annex inflammation occurs, it should be treated as soon as possible.
