Causes and treatment of atelectasis

There are many clinical causes of atelectasis, congenital, acquired, clinically most common or acquired. Common causes include lung malignant tumor, pulmonary interstitial fibrosis, pulmonary inflammation, sputum obstruction trachea, tuberculosis, bronchial foreign body obstruction, as well as pleural effusion caused by various reasons, pneumothorax and so on can cause atelectasis performance. In treatment, symptomatic treatment is needed according to the cause. If it is atelectasis caused by malignant tumor, radiotherapy, chemotherapy or surgery is needed; if it is caused by pulmonary inflammation, anti-inflammatory treatment is needed; if it is caused by tuberculosis, anti-tuberculosis treatment is needed. Therefore, the specific treatment method needs to be decided according to the cause of atelectasis.
