How to treat lung ponding

Lung hydrops should be treated according to the primary disease, it is divided into unilateral and bilateral, the causes are divided into physiological, systemic diseases and pathological diseases. Systemic such as bilateral pleural effusion, may be related to low protein, renal insufficiency, cardiac insufficiency, need to supplement protein, treatment of heart failure, treatment of renal failure, diuresis. Unilateral pleural effusion, especially a large number of pleural effusion, is mostly pathological, more common is tuberculous pleural effusion and pleural effusion beside pneumonia. Pleural effusion caused by inflammation needs to be pumped out when it is more, and when it is less, it only needs lung anti-inflammatory. Less common is malignant pleural effusion, which is caused by lung tumor or primary tumor of chest wall. It needs to treat tumor, and at the same time, pleural effusion needs to be pumped out. Sometimes pleural adhesion or pleural injection is required.
