What does double lung patchy shadow mean?

Your health, my mission. Your recovery, my joy.
Bilateral lung smears are an imaging concept. Bilateral lung smears often represent lung infections. Lung infections, most often bacterial infections, normally require anti-infective treatment. In addition, Mycoplasma pneumonia and Chlamydia pneumonia may also cause lung infections. If Mycoplasma pneumonia and Chlamydia pneumonia are infected, selective antibiotics such as respiratory quinolones and macrolipids are required. Viral infections can sometimes cause lung infections, causing patchy shadows on both lungs. Most viral infections do not require special treatment, but only symptomatic treatment. However, some special viral infections also require corresponding antiviral treatment, such as pneumonia caused by influenza virus infection.
