How to treat right lung apex bullae

Pulmonary bullae are more common in thin and tall people because of stubborn pneumonia, pneumonia caused by measles, tuberculosis, pleurisy, bronchitis, bronchiectasis, asthma, whooping cough, etc., and may also be caused by congenital alveolar development defects. No special treatment is required as long as there is no strenuous exercise or trauma causing bullae to burst. If bullae burst and pneumothorax occurs, we do closed-chamber chest drainage. If pneumothorax recurs, bullectomy or bullae ligation may be performed.
