Typical manifestations of bronchopneumonia are small patchy high density shadows running along bronchial vascular bundles with blurred edges. Special types of pneumonia, such as tuberculosis, occur in the upper and lower lobes of both lungs, showing patchy, streak-like high-density shadows, with clear or blurred boundaries, depending on the course of the disease.
