Lung markings are mainly images formed by the projection of pulmonary blood vessels and trachea on chest radiograph or CT. Clinically, they are mainly seen in patients with bronchitis, which is characterized by cough, expectoration and fever. For this kind of disease, symptomatic treatment is mainly taken, such as cough and phlegm, and antibacterial drugs are not used. Enhanced markings in both lungs are also seen in patients who smoke for a long time or in elderly patients. If there are no obvious symptoms for such patients, there is no need to worry too much, as long as CT scans are repeated regularly.
