Molecular typing of breast cancer

Breast cancer molecular typing is primarily based on the hormone receptors on breast cells. If both estrogen and progesterone receptors are positive, but HER2 test results are negative, this condition is LuminalA. If both estrogen and progesterone receptors are positive, but HER2 test results are positive, this condition is LuminalB.
