X-ray manifestations of acute miliary pulmonary tuberculosis

Restoring hope, restoring health.
Due to the reduction of immune function, the general acute miliary tuberculosis hypermetria reaction is increased, a large number of tuberculosis bacteria in the primary lung lesions and pulmonary mediastinal lymph nodes can cause hematogenous dissemination through lymph nodes, and even systemic hematogenous disseminated tuberculosis, most common in children and adolescents. The whole lung may present ground glass under X-ray fluoroscopy, with reduced transparency, and miliary lesions cannot be recognized. X-ray chest radiographs show diffuse miliary dense shadows of basically the same size and density in both lungs, which are more distributed near hilum and upper and middle lobes, and sparser in lower lobes. The boundary between miliary shadows and surrounding healthy lung tissues is generally clear, but if there is inflammatory exudation around the lesions, the edges are blurred.
