Admitted to hospital for abdominal color Doppler ultrasound examination to rule out the possibility of ectopic pregnancy. If ectopic pregnancy is diagnosed, conservative treatment is preferred and methotrexate is prescribed. If the patient has abdominal bleeding symptoms, laparoscopic surgery is required.
