CT findings of peripheral lung cancer

Restoring health, restoring hope.
Peripheral lung cancer is often characterized by nodules or masses near the periphery of the lung on chest CT. These nodules or masses are often accompanied by some malignant signs, such as lobulation, spiculation, pleural traction and other malignant signs. However, it should be noted that patients with peripheral lung cancer are difficult to get an accurate diagnosis only by chest CT. Further examinations are often needed to determine the patient's condition. Under normal circumstances, percutaneous lung biopsy is needed to further confirm the diagnosis. And through pathological examination, further clarify the pathological type of lung cancer, as well as the status of gene mutation, to guide the patient's next treatment.
