How to treat lung fibers

Pulmonary fibrosis is a condition in which the lungs become fibrosis-like. It is an end-stage change in a large group of lung diseases characterized by fibroblast proliferation and accumulation of large amounts of extracellular matrix. Inflammatory damage and destruction of lung structure are formed. After pulmonary fibrosis occurs, respiratory function of the patient is seriously affected, and eventually respiratory function deteriorates, resulting in respiratory failure and death. After pulmonary fibrosis occurs, the following treatments can be given, such as oxygen therapy and continuous oxygen inhalation at low flow rate. Second, mechanical ventilation and ventilator assisted breathing can be given if necessary. Third, lung transplantation can be given. Of course, lung transplantation conditions are limited in China, and few patients can undergo lung transplantation for pulmonary fibrosis. Fourth, certain drug treatments can also be given, such as pirfenidone and nintedanib, which can treat pulmonary fibrosis.
