Healing with hope, guiding with care.
Yin deficiency and yang deficiency belong to two different diseases. Tongue coating performance has certain differences.
1. Yin deficiency and yin
deficiency are caused by insufficient yin fluid in the body and cannot moisten the internal organs. Patients may show reddish tongue, less tongue coating, and thin tongue mucosa. When the disease develops more seriously, they may feel dry tongue.
2. Yang
deficiency may be related to congenital deficiency, excessive fatigue, excessive emotions and other factors. When the patient's body fluid consumption is insufficient, excess water may accumulate in the body, manifested as hypertrophy of the tongue, the color of the tongue coating may be white or yellow, and tooth marks may appear when the tongue is squeezed by teeth.
