Periodontitis is not treated for a long time

Periodontitis is a common stomatological disease. It requires treatment in the Periodontics Department. Typical clinical manifestations are gingival bleeding, periodontal pocket formation, alveolar bone resorption, tooth loosening and displacement. If periodontitis is not treated in time, it will cause tooth loosening and displacement. After periodontitis occurs, treatment should be done in time. First, supragingival scaling, subgingival scaling and root planing are needed. After 3 months of basic treatment, if the periodontal pocket is still as deep as 5 mm, periodontal surgery is needed when bleeding is detected. Loose teeth should be fixed. If there is no value in retaining the affected teeth, they should be extracted in time and repaired in the later stage.
