What does CPR mean?

CPR is a first-aid technique for cardiac and respiratory arrest.
When a patient has cardiac and respiratory arrest, CPR is usually performed to restore spontaneous breathing and circulation, including chest compressions and artificial respiration. Chest compressions are performed by pressing the midpoint of the line connecting the nipples and the intersection of the sternum, pressing with the base of the palm, causing the patient's heart to restart, opening the patient's airway and pinching the nose, performing artificial respiration, causing the patient's chest to rise and fall, and resuscitating the lungs.
If the patient does not receive first aid in time after cardiac arrest, it may be life-threatening.
