Tooth extraction face swelling a few days swelling

After pulling out teeth, there may be swelling on the face. How many days does it take for swelling to subside? Generally, it takes about 3 to 4 days for swelling to subside slowly. Some patients take a long time, possibly 6 to 7 days. If the patient has infection, the wound shows infectious swelling, which is difficult to eliminate without treatment. Treatment may also take 5 to 6 days for swelling to subside. Clinically, when pulling out complicated teeth, it may show obvious postoperative swelling, which is the normal reaction after surgery. To reduce swelling, we can apply local ice, or we can inject some antibiotics plus dexamethasone, which can also reduce swelling.
