Enlargement of the lateral ventricles of the fetus is a common manifestation, which gradually disappears with the increase of pregnancy. If the enlargement of the lateral ventricles is still found after reexamination, it is considered that the fetus has congenital abnormal brain development, which is often caused by viral infection.
