How do you get cardiac hypertrophy?

Cardiac hypertrophy may be caused by gene mutation, hypertension, heart valve disease and other reasons.

1. Gene mutation

If the patient's gene mutation occurs, it will lead to abnormal function of structural proteins in the myocardium, causing excessive proliferation of cardiomyocytes and myocardial hypertrophy.

2. Hypertension

If the patient has hypertension, it will lead to increased cardiac load and increase the burden of myocardial contraction, which is easy to cause myocardial hypertrophy.

3. Heart valve disease

Patients with heart valve disease due to myocardial tissue damage, resulting in myocardial function decline, abnormal blood flow, affecting heart operation, will cause myocardial hypertrophy.
