What is left kidney pain?

Committed to your well-being.
Left kidney pain is a common clinical symptom, which often indicates the existence of renal lesions. Blunt pain in renal area is more common in renal space-occupying lesions, such as huge renal cyst, severe hydronephrosis and renal tumor, which produce local compression, so that renal capsule is pulled, often showing clinical symptoms of lumbar dull pain. The obvious pain in renal area is generally seen in acute infarction of kidney, pyonephrosis and suppurative infection around kidney. The pain caused by stones is generally manifested as dull pain after activity, and the pain is more obvious. If stones cause obstruction at the junction of renal pelvis and ureter, the residual pressure is increased, and renal colic often occurs.
