What is the difference between asthma and bronchitis?

Asthma is a chronic inflammation of the airways. Bronchitis is a disease caused by infections of the lower respiratory tract. Bronchitis is mainly inflammation and is associated with respiratory syncytial virus, adenovirus, influenza virus and other pathogenic bacteria. Asthma can be accompanied by obvious wheezing attacks and abnormal symptoms of coughing.
