What causes kidney abscess?

Kidney abscess is usually caused by blood infection or retrograde infection. It may be caused by purulent infection in other parts of the body reaching the renal cortex through blood circulation, thus causing local or total kidney tissue infection. It may also be caused by bacterial infection, which may be caused by retrograde urinary tract infection and liver infection. The clinical symptoms of renal abscess are mainly sudden fever, chills, low back pain or abdominal pain, and may also show nausea, vomiting and other clinical manifestations. Patients with renal abscess may also show frequent urination, urgency, urinary pain, macroscopic hematuria and other manifestations, need to go to the hospital in time for relevant examination and treatment.
