Position of kidney vein

Healing with compassion, caring with purpose.
The kidneys are located on both sides of the waist, approximately symmetrically on both sides of the spine. The kidney on the right is slightly lower than the kidney on the left. Because of the liver on the right, the liver presses the kidney on the right slightly downward by about 2- 3 cm. On the body surface, it is approximately distributed below the ribs on both sides of the waist. In medical terms, its body surface projection is located at the lower edge of the 11th thoracic vertebra, and below it between the 2nd and 3rd lumbar keyboards. The right kidney is located between the 11th and 12th thoracic vertebrae above the body surface projection and between the 2nd and 3rd lumbar vertebrae below. The position of the kidney is not fixed. It also moves slightly up and down with respiratory activity, and its range of movement is about 1- 3 cm. The kidney position changes about 1 cm when the body is standing and lying down normally.
