Overview Sinus-atrial block

Your well-being is my top priority.
Sinus-atrial block is an abnormal or interrupted electrical conduction between the sinoatrial node and the atria of the heart.
Normally, the sinoatrial node sends electrical signals to drive the atrial muscles to contract, triggering the heartbeat. However, in sinoatrial block, these electrical signals cannot be transmitted smoothly to the atria, resulting in abnormal heart rhythm. Sinus-atrial block can be caused by a variety of factors, including heart disease, drugs, electrolyte disturbances, etc. This block can lead to irregular heart rate, bradycardia, dizziness, fatigue and other symptoms. Treatment depends on the degree of block and severity of symptoms and may include medication or a pacemaker to assist the heart rhythm.
