Fasting blood glucose of 10.68mmol/L is not a diagnosis of hypertension.

Fasting blood glucose is an indicator used to determine the fasting blood glucose level of a person. Its normal range is 3.9-6.1mmol/L. If a person's fasting blood glucose level is higher than 6.1mmol/L, there may be abnormal blood glucose or diabetes. However, high fasting blood glucose level is not a diagnostic criterion for hypertension, because hypertension refers to the phenomenon that systolic blood pressure or diastolic blood pressure is higher than the normal range in the resting state of the human body. Its diagnostic criterion is three measurements of blood pressure in different bodies, systolic blood pressure ≥140mmHg or diastolic blood pressure ≥90mmHg, which is not directly related to blood glucose level. Therefore, fasting blood glucose of 10.68 mmol/L cannot be used for diagnosis of hypertension.
