Is fetal heart rate the same as fetal heart rate monitoring?

are two completely different concepts. FHR refers to the number of beats per minute of the fetus in the womb. It is an important indicator to evaluate the health of the fetus and monitor the vital signs of the fetus. FCM is a method to monitor changes in fetal heart rate and maternal contractions.

Generally, during prenatal examination, doctors will use FCM to detect changes in fetal heart rate. In the third trimester of pregnancy, women need to do FCM to monitor changes in fetal heart rate and determine whether the fetus has intrauterine hypoxia and respiratory distress.
