Is hiccups a precursor to stomach cancer?

Hiccups are not necessarily caused by stomach cancer. They may be caused by inhaling a lot of air due to eating too fast, or they may be caused by frequent drinking of carbonated drinks and overeating, but occasional hiccups are normal physiological phenomena.
