What causes a tumor on the kidney?

It is believed that most suprarenal tumors are malignant tumors, including renal cell carcinoma, nephroblastoma and transitional cell papillary tumors originating from renal pelvis and renal calyx. The incidence of renal tumors may be related to smoking, obesity and occupational factors. It is mainly caused by excessive exposure to some chemical harmful substances such as asbestos and leather. It may also be related to genetic factors, such as mutation or deletion of VHL tumor suppressor gene. The incidence of kidney cancer is different in different countries and different regions. Literature research at this stage shows that the incidence of kidney cancer in developed countries is higher than that in developing countries. The incidence of urban kidney cancer is higher than that in rural areas. The incidence of kidney cancer at this stage is on the rise.
