How long does it take for a premature infant's cardiac catheter to close?

Your health, my commitment.
The ductus arteriosus closes before the age of one year in preterm infants.
In most preterm infants, the ductus arteriosus closes spontaneously within 15 hours of birth. In rare cases, the ductus arteriosus may close late, between one month and one year of age. If ductus arteriosus is not closed after one year old, it may belong to pathological patent ductus arteriosus, which is considered to be related to factors such as low birth weight, malnutrition, repeated infection pneumonia, complicated pulmonary hypertension, etc., which is easy to cause endocarditis, heart failure and other diseases, requiring timely surgical treatment.
Parents need to take premature infants to the cardiovascular department of the hospital for treatment, and do ECG, X-ray chest film, echocardiography, etc. to confirm the diagnosis.
