Does your heart rate accelerate when you have a fever?

Restoring health, restoring hope.
The heart rate increases with fever. The
body temperature rises gradually during fever, causing changes in various physiological indicators in the body, including an increase in heart rate, which is naturally produced by the body in response to increased metabolism and oxygen demand caused by fever. The normal heart rate is between 60-100 beats per minute, while the heart rate may increase to 100-150 beats per minute or even higher during fever. The increase in heart rate during fever is mostly temporary and gradually returns to normal as the body temperature decreases. Note that some diseases may also lead to increased heart rate, such as heart disease, anemia, hyperthyroidism, etc.
If the increased heart rate persists or is accompanied by other symptoms, seek medical attention promptly.
