Adrenal tumor can cause fever?

Your health, my mission. Your recovery, my joy.
Adrenal tumor resection is likely to show fever. There are two causes of fever, one is incision infection, adrenal blood supply is relatively rich, there may be hemocele in the resection wound, hemocele absorption will show transient low fever, this situation will cause fever. In addition, after total adrenalectomy, the contralateral adrenal gland has not had time to compensate for the secretion of adrenal cortical hormone, the patient shows adrenal crisis, typical performance is fever, and to a certain extent high fever, sweating, heart rate increased, this situation is also the cause of fever after adrenal surgery. Adrenal crisis needs hormone supplement. It is generally recommended that if adrenal surgery is prepared, hydrocortisone can be appropriately supplemented during perioperative period to prevent adrenal crisis after surgery. Sufficient blood volume should be supplemented after surgery to prevent hypovolemic shock.
